Columbus MAX fork blades, steel - .9/.6 wall - length = 390
Fork blade with 28 OD is formed into the classic Columbus tear drop shape. Steel.
Please understand that almost all fork blades require some nudging to have them match up to a fork crown. A vise with wood block pads works well. Gently compressing the longer portion, or major axis of the oval will reduce that dimension and expand the smaller, minor axis and vice versa. MAX blades have a more complex shape and can be a bit more challenging.
362g (pair) - Weight is based on a representative pair. Actual weight may vary slightly.
Please see tube graphic (in the image gallery for this product) as a guide for the following specs.
OD=28 W1=.9 W*=.6 L1=120 LT=230 TD=14
It is rare for fork blades to fit into a crown on the first try. Wooden blocks in the jaws of a clamp and gentle pressure are typically all that's needed. Compressing the major axis of the oval blades will expand the minor axis and vice versa. Sometimes the inside the crown socket will need to be cleaned up with a file. Do NOT file the fork blade to achieve fit.
